Nimblify Releases APIs for Integration With Subject Payment System
Madison, Wis. (PRWEB) June 16, 2016 -- Today, Nimblify Inc., a clinical trials technology company, launched a new set of application program interfaces (APIs) that allow clinical research technology vendors to integrate Nimblify’s participant payment system with their software, such as clinical trial management systems (CTMS). The APIs include end points for receiving updates from systems that already collect visit and payment information, protocol details and participants enrolled on protocols. These details can now auto-populate in Nimblify from a CTMS or other software, allowing research organizations to pay participants immediately from Nimblify. This greatly reduces the need to re-enter details into a separate system and creates a single source of truth, providing clarity and eliminating discrepancies. Integration allows various systems to communicate with Nimblify and ultimately streamlines the process of paying and reimbursing research subjects.
Integrating with Nimblify to optimize workflows and enhance research staff and participant satisfaction
Nimblify’s payment solution helps clinical research sites, sponsors and CROs securely pay participants by reducing administrative burden and lowering operational costs. Through integration with Nimblify, customers using other technologies can be more patient-centric without increasing their workloads. Nimblify allows participants to choose their preferred payment method (debit card, direct deposit or check) and lets them leave the visit with their stipend payment.
For integrations, Nimblify will use the actual schedule of events from a CTMS or other software to match the pre-defined payment amounts to each visit, rather than submitting ad-hoc payment requests, to help accounting stay organized. Just as Nimblify works as a standalone system, integration will allow research organizations to establish un-editable, pre-approved stipend amounts in advance, making it quick and easy for a study coordinator to go into Nimblify and click ‘Pay’ as soon as the visit is completed. Additionally, the ability to request and track reimbursements in Nimblify at the time of the visit remains very straightforward.
“Processing and managing payments to research subjects can be very complicated for organizations, and there is a great need to connect systems that have siloed workflows,” said Laura Hilty, VP of Product Management & Operations at Nimblify. “We are very excited about helping technology vendors provide a seamless, integrated participant payment experience for their customers.”
The new APIs are immediately available and developers can integrate them into existing software today. Nimblify is open for partnerships with other clinical research technology companies and will continue to produce more APIs.
