Nissan dealership in Avondale conducts research on Nissan Titan and a top competitor
AVONDALE, Ariz., April 6, 2018 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Avondale Nissan is giving website visitors a new way to research vehicles. The site now features a landing page that compares the 2018 Nissan Titan to the 2018 Ford F-150. This page is meant to provide savvy shoppers with in-depth information about the top Nissan pickup and one of its fiercest rivals. The link to the page, titled "Titan vs. F-150", can be found under the New Vehicles tab on the main toolbar.
The research results are laid out neatly in a table. Some of the categories that are compared include pricing, horsepower, torque, fuel economy and engine specifications. The numbers pulled are from the base model of each truck. The 2018 Nissan Titan starts at an MSRP of $30,030 while the 2018 F-150 comes in at $28,005.
However, the Titan gets the edge on all things to do with the engine. 390 horses power the Titan whereas the F-150 has 290 horsepower. The Titan produces 394 pound-foot of torque and the F-150 puts out 265 pound-foot of torque. All that power and performance is due to the engines. The Titan comes with a base 5.6-liter V8 engine, while the F-150's base motor is a V6 of 3.3-liters. Because of that, the F-150 takes the slight edge on fuel economy. Drivers will see up to 25 highway MPG with the F-150 and 21 highway MPG with the Titan.
The 2018 Titan also comes with a 60-month, 100,000-mile basic warranty. Meanwhile, the F-150's basic warranty only covers 36 months of 36,000 miles.
