Dr. Kaufman was instrumental in bringing this book to life. He and NJ Top Doc Andrew Elkwood, M.D. were both editors of the textbook. In Rehabilitative Surgery every aspect of reconstructive surgical treatment is considered, including anesthesia, orthopedic surgery, plastic surgery, neurosurgery, general surgery, vascular surgery, and otolaryngology.

This networking and educational event occurred three weeks ago at the Hyatt Regency of New Brunswick and included speakers, vendors and provided continuing education credits for nurses and case managers. The speakers of the event outlined how connecting quality care depends on the collaboration between healthcare and insurance professionals when navigating complex cases. Speakers included Dr. Matthew Kaufman, other doctors from The Plastic Surgery Center, outside physicians, lawyers and insurance professionals. Their team is looking forward to hosting this type of event annually.
