Noffsinger Insurance Agencies and the Friends of Grand Rapids Parks Organization Announce Joint Charity Effort to Improve Local Public Spaces
Grand Rapids, MI (PRWEB) August 21, 2015 -- Noffsinger Insurance Agencies, a full service insurance company serving communities all across Michigan, is launching a joint charity drive with the Friends of Grand Rapids Parks. This charity effort will be aimed at improving local parks, cleaning and enhancing public areas, and furthering the Urban Forest Project, a large urban forest that will be planted, grown, and maintained for public use.
Friends of Grand Rapids Parks is an independent, citizen led organization that works closely with the City of Grand Rapids in identifying park projects, mobilizing volunteers, and generating resources used to protect, enhance, and expand the parks and public spaces throughout Grand Rapids. The Grand Rapids Urban Forest Project is an initiative of Friends of Grand Rapids Parks in partnership with the City of Grand Rapids to engage the community in generating a larger, healthier urban forest.
