Noitom Voyages to I/ITSEC 2017 with Mixed Reality Solution Alice Space

I/ITSEC is the world's largest modeling, simulation, and training conference. I/ITSEC is organized by the National Training and Simulation Association (NTSA), which promotes international and interdisciplinary cooperation within the fields of modeling and simulation (M&S), training, education, analysis, and related disciplines at this annual meeting.
In 2016, Noitom launched Project Alice—their multi-user, virtual reality solution utilizing motion capture, physical props and a large tracking space to deliver high quality, immersive environments. Since then, the motion capture technology company has continued to expand into the realm of simulation with virtual and mixed reality experiences. Noitom will attend the conference with its space exploration simulation turnkey platform, Alice Space. Conceived as a complete hardware and content package, Alice Space allows venues like museums and science centers to offer their audiences realistic and immersive experiences in a simulated outer space and moon setting.
During I/ITSEC, Noitom will feature a demo version of Earthlight: Lunar Mission—billed as humanity’s first step on the mission to explore and settle other worlds. It is the first of a planned six interactive mixed reality experiences being released through 2020 that will take players from the Earth’s Moon to Jupiter’s icy Europa.
With original and bi-annually updated content created by Opaque Space in collaboration with NASA, Alice Space packages offer a turnkey solution based on Project Alice’s proprietary high fidelity hybrid optical-inertial tracking, and includes virtual reality backpacks and goggles for up to six players. With a tracking space of 7m by 10m, players can move freely and interact with one another as well as with physical objects. Alice Space gives operators uninterrupted, continuous play with up to three sessions per hour.
