Nominate a Railway Star and Help First Capital Connect Support a Children’s Charity
(PRWEB UK) 14 November 2013 -- Rail passengers are being asked to nominate their star First Capital Connect employee for a special award, to both raise money for children’s hospices and charities and help the company deliver even better customer service.
Managing Director David Statham said: “If you get fabulous information from our station teams, jump on a spotless train, receive fantastic service information from our Twitter agents, or have a smooth journey with plenty of driver announcements, then please let us know.
“Once you nominate your star via our website, we will make a donation to one of the children’s hospices and charities on our network that are close to our employees’ hearts.”
David added: “A key part of ensuring our passengers have a great experience with us is to provide them with excellent customer service. This is part of our wider campaign to improve customer service and passenger satisfaction by investing £350,000 to deep clean every one of our trains and improving our customer information systems.”
The staff member nominated most times will receive a prize in recognition of their achievement. First Capital Connect will also be asking all the nominated stars to share their tips on going the extra mile for their passengers so that they become ambassadors of great customer service.
