Nominations Open for Inaugural Novogradac Journal of Tax Credits Renewable Energy Power Awards
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) November 21, 2013 -- Nominations are now being accepted for the inaugural Novogradac Journal of Tax Credits Renewable Energy Power Awards, a program created to recognize renewable energy tax credit developments that have demonstrated exceptional community impact, success in overcoming obstacles and effectiveness in the use of renewable energy tax credits. Award-winning developments will be recognized at the Novogradac Financing Renewable Energy Tax Credit Conference in San Francisco, Calif., Apr. 24, 2014.

To be eligible for consideration, tax credit developments must have been placed in service in 2012 to 2013 and involve the use of federal renewable energy investment tax credits, federal renewable energy production tax credits and/or Section 1603 cash grant funds.
Nominations will be accepted until Dec. 19, 2013 and are open to all with knowledge of a deserving development. A nominating entity may enter more than one development, and/or one development in more than one category. Any nominations received after the deadline will be considered for the following year’s awards.
In addition to being honored during the awards ceremony at the Financing Renewable Energy Conference in San Francisco, Calif., winners and honorable mentions of the Renewable Energy Power Awards, along with their development teams, will receive:
• one complimentary registration to the conference to receive the award;
• coverage of the project in the Novogradac Journal of Tax Credits;
• copies of the Novogradac Journal of Tax Credits to share with industry contacts; and
• recognition on the Novogradac & Company website and in a national press release about the event.
