So how do couples go about making their wedding day one for the books? For four decades, the Scotto Brothers have hosted countless weddings and special events in their Long Island catering facilities: Fox Hollow and Chateau Briand Caterers. These iconic venues have provided timeless memories for many families and continue to do so however, the probability of gaining ones business has become more difficult due to a over saturation of venue opportunities on Long Island.
At one time, brides and grooms would look to their local catering facility to host their wedding reception. Today, couples are thinking outside the box and are hosting their receptions in unique locations such as vacant homes, museums, libraries, empty warehouses and more! There are a few challenges in doing this such as the couple is faced with sourcing their own caterer and must provide everything from tables, linens, flatware, glasses and more; all which add to the bottom line.
What sets the Scotto Brothers' apart is their commitment to excellence in providing quality products and services to their customers. Their promise to use only the finest and freshest ingredients available has remained a priority and they believe that their consistency is what has earned them their reputation as the leader in the industry and they continue to always put their customer's best interest first.
The Scotto Brothers understand the importance of maintaining their facilities and continue to make enhancements so that each experience is extraordinary. It is over 40 years that the Scotto Brothers started their family empire on Long Island and when you hear the Scotto name you come to expect a high standard. With quality being paramount to every aspect of the companies philosophy, guests attending events at their properties will enjoy mouth watering cuisine and service with attention to every detail.
These are not the only ingredients that go into setting them apart; the Scotto Brothers take pride in their establishments and keeping up with current trends. While their venture with the Chateau Briand is going on 35 years, they continue to make enhancements to the property so that it looks and feels new. Recently, the Scotto Brothers invested in renovating their Saturnia ballroom at Chateau Briand making this one of Long Island's finest venues for weddings and special events. From solid cherry dance floor to the finest selection of textiles and drapery, the Saturnia ballroom makes for a breathtaking backdrop to any occasion. "The new Saturnia Ballroom has allowed us to appeal to a modern bride" says Victor Scotto Jr., GM of the Chateau Briand. "The ballroom was dated and we were having a difficult time selling the room. Now, couples are blown away with the renovation and are as excited about the new Chateau as much as we are."
In addition to the renovations at the Chateau Briand, the Scotto Brothers expanded their Fox Hollow Catering facility and invested in creating The Somerley Suite at Fox Hollow which caters to one wedding at a time. The Somerley is a tri-level suite featuring a private entrance, pocket gardens, state of the art ballroom and elegant cocktail space. "Brides have really taken to this space" says Michael Maurontonio, GM of the Somerley at Fox Hollow. "When a couple sees this venue, they practically reserve their wedding on the spot!"
Both properties have undergone major construction this past year and the Scotto Brothers are excited to appeal to a new generation.
