Nonprofit Christian Financial Services Improves San Antonio Financially

The nonprofit financial organization has helped many in the San Antonio, TX community improve financially. With the Haven for Hope project, which began in 2012, Christian Financial Services provides comprehensive financial education and counseling for those in need.

Many people say “well everyone is in debt, so we’ll always be in debt.” The mission of Christian Financial Services is to help them understand that it is possible to live debt free. Their disabled and homeless clients often say “I’m never going to pay this off” or “There is nothing I can do.” However, Christian Financial Services has learned that there is something every person can do, regardless of income level or situation, to improve their financial situation. It is not only the duty and the mission of this ministry’s program, but their honor and privilege to serve the community.
Christian Financial Services has continuously collaborated with other organizations throughout the years in order to fulfill their mission. They have educated veterans and the disabled through the Easter Seals Society, underprivileged parents in schools with Avance, and senior citizens at Good Samaritan Foundation. On Haven’s for Hope’s campus, they work with IHRP, Center for Health Care Services, SAMM ministries, and various other partners who refer to Christian Financial Services periodically as the need for financial education and programs arise.
In addition to pursuing grants from foundations and organizations, Christian Financial Services receives grant payments for services from major banking institutions. They also receive individual contributions from clients who use and benefit from their programs, board members and general donations from the public.
