NEW YORK (PRWEB) November 13, 2017 -- Noodle Partners, which works with universities to create world-class, agile online degree programs, continues its rapid growth by adding three senior higher ed executives to its leadership team.
Joining Noodle Partners are:
- Lee Bradshaw, who will serve as the Director of University Partnerships
- Feather de la Mata, who will serve as the VP of Recruitment
- Becky Krill, who will serve as the Head of Marketing
Together, Bradshaw, de la Mata and Krill bring decades of experience in education, program development, marketing, recruitment and online program management. Bradshaw and de la Mata have created, grown and directed online programs in higher education and have both left traditional online education management roles to help expand the revolutionary Noodle Partners program model. Krill takes the leap with Noodle Partners after spending the last several years heading up marketing for a corporate learning management system.
Bradshaw joins Noodle Partners with over a decade of experience in education technology. Most recently he lead university partnerships for 2U, forming deep relationships in a breadth of academic disciplines including Public Health, Social Work, Education, Business, Law, Nursing, Physical Therapy, and Speech Pathology. In the last year he announced partnerships with The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Gillings School of Public Health, Fordham University’s Graduate School of Education and Graduate School of Social Service, and Emerson College’s Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Prior to leading partnerships, Bradshaw managed 2U’s new-program software implementation for four years, collaborating with teams at USC, Berkeley, George Washington, American, SMU, Yale, Northwestern, Syracuse, and NYU. By implementing nuanced workflow efficiencies, he deployed more software in the first 18 months of his tenure than had been deployed in the previous five years of 2U’s operations.
At Noodle Partners, Bradshaw will grow Noodle’s list of world class university partners. He will also be developing and implementing operational efficiencies for universities when they transition to the program management team nearing launch.
De la Mata joins Noodle Partners after spending 10 years with 2U, Inc. As one of the first hires at 2U, she launched the recruitment department for the company. She was the first Director of Admissions for their initial program, MAT@USC - and, most recently, as VP of Admissions, she led the admissions department for 2U’s healthcare programs, serving schools such as Georgetown (Nursing), Yale (Physician’s Assistant) and Simmons (Nursing) to name a few. De la Mata has been instrumental in developing and implementing multi-faceted strategic plans that lead to recruitment success.
Prior to 2U, de la Mata earned her Masters of Arts in Science Education from the prestigious NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development. She also worked several years as a K-12 educator in the New York City and Montgomery County, MD public school systems.
De la Mata will serve as VP of Recruitment at Noodle Partners, where she will be instrumental in meeting recruitment needs for all universities breaking into the online space with the company.
Krill joins Noodle Partners from the corporate LMS, SchoolKeep, where she led the company’s B2B marketing efforts. Previously, she worked closely with The Economist’s innovation team to build and launch Learning.ly, an online marketplace for the intellectually curious. Krill has also spent time in program management roles for K-12 education companies.
At Noodle Partners, Krill will be focused on spreading the word about Noodle Partners’ transparent, flexible and cost-effective model.
“We could not be more pleased to add Lee, Feather, and Becky to the team,” said Greg O’Brien, Chief Operations Officer of Noodle Partners. “Feather is one of the most talented higher education recruitment executives, and will have an incredibly positive impact on how Noodle Partners helps partner universities to find, engage with, and matriculate online students. Lee’s role in University Relations will complement our ability to connect and engage with hundreds of universities seeking to go and/or grow online. And Becky’s entrepreneurial background across education technology will help Noodle Partners to engage further with colleges and universities.”
Online program management companies help universities and other education providers design, market, direct and recruit for their online education programs. Under traditional OPM models, these companies received a share of tuition revenue each program generated – sometimes as high as 70% or more. While highly profitable to the OPMs, it can mean that students will pay $30,000 or more in loan repayments to cover just the OPM’s profit.
The Noodle Partners model rejects this tuition sharing model in favor of a flat fee-for-service approach which allows institutions to maximize their long-term returns and maintain higher degrees of program control. Noodle Partners is part of the Noodle Companies and was founded by education entrepreneur John Katzman, who previously founded 2U and The Princeton Review.
