CHICAGO (PRWEB) November 07, 2017 -- Norris McLaughlin, which appears on the 2017 list of “Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania” for the fifth consecutive year, has opted to roll out BigHand Hyperstyles document formatting and styling tools to 280 employees. In addition, users will have access to BigHand Create, a document template management solution and BigHand DocID, a document identification tool. As part of the implementation, Norris McLaughlin will be integrating BigHand Create with their iManage system to ensure naming consistency and efficiency when saving documents directly into the DMS.

Director of Practice Support Services, Joseph Mason, was the driving force behind the procurement of BigHand. He comments: “We were primarily facing challenges around document formatting and achieving consistency. Our support teams found it difficult to use Microsoft Word’s native functionality and tasks like implementing automatic numbering and creating tables of contents were taking too long. We wanted a solution that would not only make it easier to create legal documents from scratch, but one that would allow us to reformat existing documents like agreements and pleadings very quickly, regardless of their length or complexity.

In recent BigHand studies it was found that BigHand Hyperstyles saves users between one and four hours of document formatting time per day. It was also found that BigHand Create, the solution that will allow Norris McLaughlin to manage and distribute standardized document templates firm-wide, reduces the amount of time it takes to create a new document by an average of 69%.
