Dallas, TX (PRWEB) December 17, 2013 -- North Central Surgical Center recently donated just over $5,000 to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.

A bake sale was held, which raised $2,791.59, and North Central donated all the food for the bake sale. They also donated an iPad to be raffled off, and afterwards wrote a check in the amount of $2,250. That brought the total amount donated to the PCAN to $5,041.59.

PCAN was one of the charities North Central insisted on donating to in 2013. The former Carrell Clinic Administrator passed away from pancreatic cancer six years ago, and Dr. William Bruck’s wife Susan is on the board of the local PCAN affiliate.
