Prior to joining North Shore Eye Care, Dr. Savetsky practiced ophthalmology on the west coast in Los Angeles, California. He completed his general ophthalmic training at Tulane University Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana and then received additional training in cornea and refractive surgery at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. “I have been extremely fortunate in my medical career to have trained under some of the leading eye surgeons in the world,” said Dr. Savetsky. “During my advanced training at the Cleveland Clinic, I learned the latest breakthroughs in treating myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism and other common ocular surface diseases.” Dr. Savetsky said he looks forward to sharing expertise with patients of North Shore Eye Care and his fellow colleagues.
