North Somerset Council implements Agilisys Digital Platform to improve residents' online experience
North Somerset (PRWEB UK) 9 October 2013 -- From today, North Somerset residents will have the ability to access council tax and housing benefits through a single ‘MyAccount’ area on the council’s website – as the authority becomes the latest to join the innovative and rapidly growing Agilisys Digital platform.
North Somerset Council has been working with Agilisys and Liberata through its existing long-term partnership to deliver a number of modules within the platform, beginning with these vital services.
As a result, customers will have an improved online experience, which will also create savings for the council as users have the opportunity to choose more efficient digital channels from the comfort of their own homes, at the time that suits them.
The platform is being delivered through the existing long-term strategic partnership in place between Agilisys and North Somerset Council, in conjunction with Liberata, who currently provide revenues and benefits business services to the partnership.
Richard Penska, North Somerset Council’s Head of Support Services Partnership said, "In today’s digital environment, we know our residents expect to be able to access services in a variety of ways – online, by phone, or in person – and have a consistent, high quality experience whichever method they choose. By introducing the Agilisys Digital platform, we’ll be able to provide a complete self-service option for core transactions, available 24/7, improving our residents’ service delivery experience and saving money at the same time."
