North Texas Foot & Ankle Celebrates 10th Anniversary
Irving, Texas (PRWEB) April 13, 2015 -- The leading podiatry specialists at North Texas Foot & Ankle are proud to celebrate the practice’s 10th anniversary. Dr. Ronica Holcombe originally established North Texas Foot & Ankle in 2001, moving the practice to its current Las Colinas office in February of 2005.
Dr. Holcombe, a native of Irving, Texas, graduated valedictorian from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago and completed a three-year surgical residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery in Miami. She has extensive training in the treatment and preventative care of diabetic wounds and was also awarded an Orthopedic International Foot and Ankle Trauma/Internal Fixation Fellowship in Innsbruck, Austria.
Since its opening 10 years ago, North Texas Foot & Ankle has welcomed two additional board qualified podiatrists. Dr. Mitch Williams joined the practice in 2009. Dr. Williams is Board Qualified in both Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rear foot/Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is also an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons as well as a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and Texas Podiatric Medical Association.
North Texas Foot & Ankle welcomed Dr. Nagmeh Lilly Khavari to the practice in August 2014. Dr. Khavari completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with honors at the University of Texas at Dallas. She pursued her degree of doctorate in podiatric medicine (DPM) at Barry University in Miami, FL where she was awarded the American Podiatric Medical Association outstanding student scholarship as well as multiple Dean’s List placements. She completed 3 years of extensive surgical training in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery and graduated as co-chief resident at the prestigious Kern residency program at Michigan surgical Hospital. She is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, as well as the Texas Podiatric Medical Association.
