Northern Arizona University Establishes Partnership with the AU-ABC Program
Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) August 12, 2014 -- Northern Arizona University (NAU) recently became an Air University Associate-to-Baccalaureate Cooperative (AU-ABC) partner, allowing members of the United States Air Force who are earning an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) to start earning their bachelor’s degree now at NAU.
In order to establish an AU-ABC partnership, NAU had to meet strict requirements including specific accreditation standards, online delivery instruction offerings and requiring no more than 60 hours to earn a bachelor’s degree upon earning an AAS degree.
“We are very honored to establish this partnership,” says LTC (R) Jim Johnson, Manager of Military Initiatives at NAU. “We strive to support our active duty service members in every way we can.”
NAU has a strong reputation as being a military-friendly university. In addition to offering priority enrollment and military benefits counseling, NAU offers its active duty military and veteran students:
• Tuition equal to the DoD Tuition Assistance rates for active duty
• Full in-state tuition assistance under the VA Education Programs
• Application fee waived for undergraduate degrees
