Northrop Team of Long & Foster Partners with Gardens Ice House
Clarksville, MD (PRWEB) December 15, 2015 -- The Creig Northrop Team of Long & Foster Real Estate has partnered with The Gardens Ice House, a privately operated skating and fitness facility in Laurel. As part of the partnership, the Northrop Team will co-brand with the Ice House, participate in Ice House events with a booth and sponsor the Learn to Skate program.

The Gardens Ice House, one of the largest ice-skating rinks in the mid-Atlantic, covers 150,000 square feet with three full-size rinks, a pond-style rink, pavilion and exhibition hall, an independent gym, sporting goods store and café. The facility houses five youth hockey programs, youth leagues and high school teams as well as the Learn to Skate program, which teaches basic ice-skating skills to children and youth.
“Learn to Skate doesn’t just give children a season of athletics. It teaches them ice skating so they can enjoy it for the rest of their lives,” Northrop said. “We’re pleased to sponsor a program that, in a sense, gives families the gift of ice skating, hockey and figure skating for years to come.”
The Gardens Ice House offers Learn to Skate as six-week programs taught by The Chesapeake Skating School year-round. The programs teach students skills that can prepare them for hockey and figure skating. Students will receive gift tote bags from the Northrop Team as part of its sponsorship.
