Northwest Center Now Offering Vehicle Removal Services Nationwide
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) March 20, 2014 -- It just got a little easier to remove that old car or pickup truck from the yard – and right in time for spring. Northwest Center, a not-for-profit organization that serves children and adults with disabilities, is now offering vehicle removal nationwide, at no cost.
The donated vehicles will be used to fund schools and services for children and adults with developmental disabilities such as Autism, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and other developmental delays. The service is free of charge and all vehicle donations will receive a tax deduction.
In addition to removing unwanted clutter from the yard/garage, vehicle donation is also an efficient form of recycling. In a recent article about vehicle donation, Seattle Times columnist, Tom Watson writes, “Many of us have vivid memories of visiting a muddy auto junkyard to find parts for an old car or truck. Junkyards persevere, but in recent years additional alternatives have emerged for dealing with old cars. Local charities or nonprofits with good reputations are usually safe bets for vehicle donations.”
The additional funding from vehicle donations comes at a critical time in Northwest Center’s history – their preschool for children for special needs was given an unexpected 6 month eviction notice in January, 2014 and the 49 year old organization has been desperately looking to secure a new location within the short time frame.

To schedule a vehicle removal, simply visit their website or call (877) 234-9109. You must have the title or other release of ownership to donate your vehicle. Northwest Center will accept: cars, trucks, SUVs, boats, trailers, RV’s and even airplanes.
