Northwest Embroidery Announces Company Name Change
Milton, WA (PRWEB) March 31, 2015 -- Northwest Embroidery, a leader in custom embroidery, printing, and promotional items, announces today that it will be named Northwest Custom Apparel, effective immediately. The name change is part of a re-branding initiative to better align the company’s name with its move beyond just embroidery into a full line of decorated garments.
Erik Mickelson, Operations Manager for Northwest, states, "Northwest began in 1977 with just a single embroidery machine and a box full of baseball caps. While embroidery is still a very large part of our business, we felt a new name would better represent the full line of services we provide."
In addition to embroidery, the company is a leader in direct-to-garment printing. Also known as DTG, it is one of the fastest growing areas in the decorated apparel industry. Using water based inks applied directly to the fabric, digital printers can decorate shirts with less mess, less cost, and less set-up times than traditional screenprinting.
The company’s name change is just one element of their total re-branding efforts. Additionally, the company is also adopting a new logo, redesigning their website, remodeling and expanding their showroom, and adding new signage to their facility.
