Northwood Realty Named Official REALTOR® of the Pittsburgh Penguins®

Northwood Realty’s partnership with the Penguins includes brand integration throughout PPG Paints Arena and the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex, broadcast and online inclusion, and the launch of the “Hockey Mom of the Year” contest.

In addition to dasherboards, LED ribbons, and backlit signage around the Penguin’s home ice, Pittsburgh Penguins® fans will see Northwood’s presence in concession areas at PPG Paints Arena. Fans will also see and hear Northwood inclusions online and in radio broadcasts.
In the coming weeks, visitors to the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry will be able to search and find homes and real estate agents easily, via a convenient Northwood Realty interactive kiosk located in the lobby of the building. The kiosk will feature MLS listings, Northwood agents and its new Find Buyers program. Northwood’s Find Buyers program enables consumers to find property value estimates for their home or any property, track local real estate search activity, and measure potential demand for properties.
As part of their partnership, Northwood and the Pittsburgh Penguins® are excited to honor local youth hockey moms together with a “Hockey Mom of the Year” contest. Northwood first initiated an award for hockey moms independently last year. The company’s agents wanted to find a way to recognize their friends’ and neighbors’ dedication and support of youth hockey programs across the region.

Five monthly winners will be chosen between November and March. Each of the monthly winners will receive a bouquet of roses; four tickets to a Penguins home game; an on-ice scrimmage for her team during intermission; video board recognition during pack; and a $500 donation to the mother's team or organization.
The "Hockey Mom of the Year" will be chosen from among the five monthly winners. She will receive on-ice recognition before the national anthem at the March 19 home game vs. Florida; a bouquet of roses; a customized Penguins jersey; a commemorative plaque; one party suite (40 tickets) for her team/organization; an on-ice scrimmage for her team; a Penguins prize pack; and a $1,000 donation to the mother's team or organization.
