November Starts the Holiday Spirit at West Virginia’s State Parks
South Charleston, W. VA (PRWEB) October 31, 2013 -- Late November is the start of the holiday season, and in 2013, West Virginia state parks are getting ready.
“All of West Virginia's lodge parks will be decorating for the season and encouraging families and friends to visit during these hectic times and enjoy some holiday relaxation and celebrations,” said Sissie Summers, state parks programming coordinator. “It’s a great time for family get-togethers or to just get away for a few days and enjoy some great food and warm fireplaces.”

"Trees of our Heritage" - A Sunday Open House at Blennerhassett State Park
This is the opening day of the trees exhibit. From 1 to 3 p.m. visit the museum, enjoy refreshments and entertainment. Trees are decorated to depict different cultures and countries. See delightful ornaments and history on each tree. Admission to the museum open house is $2. Contact: 304-420-4800.

Christmas In The Park at Chief Logan State Park
