Novu Restaurant Opens Wednesday, February 12
Wayne, NJ (PRWEB) February 10, 2014 -- Novu Restaurant opens Feb. 12 in time for Valentine’s Day. Chef Tony Dumani creates something special for lovers of fine food.
Novu Restaurant, the area’s newest fine-dining destination, opens its doors Wednesday, Feb. 12, offering a menu of fresh seafood, succulent prime, dry aged steaks and tempting pasta dishes created by Chef Tony I. Dumani.
Former executive chef for many years at the renowned River Palm Terrace in Mahwah, Chef Dumani has crafted a menu of New American Cuisine that promotes the region’s local purveyors and farmers, combining classic and contemporary techniques to create fresh, modern fare with a flare.
“My mission is to serve you with the highest quality food prepared to order using the freshest ingredients, and to create innovative daily specials to entice guests to try something new,” Chef Dumani said.
The 100-seat restaurant is open for dinner Monday-Thursday from 4:30 to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 4:30 to 11. Sundays are reserved for private parties and other events. Special events also may be booked Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Schedulers can contact Kathy to discuss menu options.
“As head of the front of the house, I will provide guests with professional, courteous assistance at every point of their visit,” Chef Dumani’s wife, Kathy, said. “Novu’s warm, casual style – a fusion of crisp white linen-draped tables, soft lighting and great ambience – will combine with our exceptional menu to give each guest a memorable dining experience.”
Novu is a BYOB establishment and guests are invited to bring a favorite wine to accompany their meal.
The Dumanis originally planned to open Novu in December but were delayed by a structural issue .Those have been resolved and they look forward to greeting their first guests on Feb. 12.
