Nowell Development Releases Shalom ESX 4

Release introduces better integration with LDAP directory services including IBM Tivoli Identity Manager, Oracle Identity Manager, Open LDAP, and Microsoft Active Directory. With this capability, Shalom ESX can connect to an existing directory server, extract provisioned identities and offer security, anomaly detection, real-time risk analytics, and cloud knowledge-based authentication services.
Furthermore, support for cloud application analytics which tracks user application use associated with cloud server usage trends which is useful for analytics and enterprise capital allocation, budgeting and forecasting towards IT investment. In addition, image view analytics has been introduced for capturing desktop snapshot activity to reveal what is happening when suspicious events are detected on the host for better security visibility; useful for highly secure environments including financial services, energy and environments where security needs are very high and internal audits require going back to gather evidence. Shalom ESX 4 has also extended its OS support to include Windows 7, Windows Server, and Enterprise Linux 5.9
