NY Sports Lovers Unite! Recipes From The Yankees And The Mets
NEW YORK, June 13, 2018 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The end of spring in New York City marks the start of the Subway Series, which is known to invoke increased yelling from excited fans and may even result in a bit of yelling among couples as they root for their favorite rival team; the NY Yankees or the Mets. All in hopes that the favorite team will take their division all the way to the World Series.
The Subway Series, which is just a fancy name for the sequence of rivalry games played between New York's own Major League Baseball teams the Yankees and the Mets, got its name from the fact that the venues for these games can be accessed by way of the New York City Subway.
