NYC Chiropractor Dr. Steven Shoshany Talks Simple Solutions for Pain on the Dr. Oz Show

Its simply putting the body back in to balance by using simple positions, stretches, and things like foam rolling to perform basic maintenance that will keep people form developing chronic, and degenerative conditions. It may not seem like much at first, but do these little things every day, or even every other day, and watch the little aches and pains go away.”
As for chiropractic spinal manipulation techniques possibly being done in the home? Dr. Shoshany cautions against trying to manipulate the spine or going too far in joint manipulation on your own. He states that, “You need to go to a specialist that can assess your spine, see what’s really causing your pain, and then administer a proper adjustment using the proper tools and techniques. Unfortunately there aren’t many things you can do at home to manipulate the spine, that is best left to a professional.”
