Obituary.us.org Redesigning Site To Make It More Accessible
Denver, CO (PRWEB) May 27, 2014 -- Obituary.us.org is about to launch a new version of their site that streamlines their public document search system, the company announced yesterday.
“We polled our customers earlier this month about their experience with our search service,” an Obituary.us.org spokesman said. “While the majority of people were happy with the results we delivered, a large number of them said they thought our search system could be easier to use and should have delivered results faster. We are now addressing those two very important issues.”
The new site will have fewer steps between the home page and the checkout page before people get their results, he said. The questions asked on the various pages will also be clarified, and some questions completely eliminated.
“We've also had our IT staff work on the search process itself,” he said. “They found ways to access information from the database at a considerably faster rate. This will help avoid problems where people click off the page because they think that the system has not delivered any results.”
The new version of the site is currently undergoing beta testing, he said.
“We want to make sure there are not any bugs in the system before we go live,” he said. “We are making this announcement now so that current and potential customers know we are working hard to improve their experiences with our company.”
Obituary.us.org estimated that the new site will be live in two to three weeks, he said.
