Obsidian Analysis, Inc. Selected to Provide Technical and Management Support to the Urban Operational Experimentation (OpEx) Program
Washington, DC (PRWEB) October 08, 2014 -- The Department of Homeland Security’s Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) has selected Obsidian Analysis, Inc. to provide technical and management support to the Urban Operational Experimentation (OpEx) Program. Obsidian is a recognized leader in designing, developing, conducting, and evaluating training, exercises, and events that produce measurable outcomes for clients across the government and private sectors. Obsidian will assist S&T in designing and conducting operational experiments in urban environments—putting innovative technologies into the hands of responders in realistic and challenging scenarios.
Under this one-year contract, Obsidian will support S&T’s spiral development of the Urban OpEx Program, from pilot demonstrations to full program implementation. Through a series of experimentation activities, progressively increasing in scope and complexity, Obsidian will help identify and validate technologies that best meet the needs of the homeland security enterprise.
