Ocean Canyon Properties Announces Mark Adams as Vice President General Counsel
Texarkana, TX (PRWEB) July 14, 2014 -- Ocean Canyon Properties (OCP), a privately owned membership camping resort company, is excited to announce the appointment of Mr. Mark Adams as Vice President, General Counsel.
Before joining Ocean Canyon Properties, Mr. Adams was a partner in the Texarkana firm of Dunn, Nutter & Morgan, LLP. Serving clients since 2004, Mr. Adams provided legal services in the areas of real estate, business formation and compliance, commercial contracts and commercial litigation. Prior to his joining the Dunn, Nutter firm, Mr. Adams served as Sr. Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel for Walsh Healthcare Solutions, Inc., a pharmaceutical distribution company with annual revenues in excess of $1.7 billion. As General Counsel for Walsh Healthcare Solutions, Mr. Adams provided guidance and legal counsel to the company related to corporate governance, licensing and compliance, ethics, human resources, financing ($130+ million line of credit), and several mergers and acquisitions including Walsh’s eventual sale in excess of $100 million. During his career, Mr. Adams has also served as a Sr. Administrator for Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Amarillo, Texas, a prosecutor and solo practitioner.

Mr. Adams has served on the boards of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for children, Hereford, Texas); Government Affairs Committee (Chairman, 2005), Healthcare Distribution Management Association; American Cancer Society, Randall County, Texas; United Way, Amarillo, Texas; as well as Rotary International and Lions Club International.

Mr. Adams earned his Juris Doctor from Baylor University School of Law in Waco in 1986, and was subsequently admitted to the Texas and Arkansas State Bars. He is also admitted to practice before the federal courts of the Eastern District of Texas, and the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas.
