Ocean Orthopedic Associates Joins Human Motion Institute
Old Bridge, NJ (PRWEB) July 19, 2013 -- Board certified orthopedic surgeons Jess G. Alcid, MD; Sripad H. Dhawlikar, MD; Justin P. Kubeck, MD, and board eligible surgeon Christopher Passariello, MD have joined the Human Motion Institute at Raritan Bay Medical Center (RBMC) and opened an office in the medical center’s Old Bridge Medical Arts Building. Collectively the surgeons have performed more than 5,000 surgical procedures. Their practice Ocean Orthopedic Associates has served the Ocean County, NJ, community for more than 30 years.
The Human Motion Institute is an integrated team of orthopedic specialists consisting of surgeons, physicians, nurses, physical therapists and allied health professionals providing comprehensive and coordinated musculoskeletal healthcare. Dr. Alcid received his medical degree and completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at Albany Medical College, NY. He completed a sports medicine fellowship at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Alcid specializes in arthroscopic surgeries of the shoulder and knee. He also performs general fracture care and joint replacement.
Dr. Dhawlikar received his medical degree from the NTR University of Health Sciences, India, and completed the primary fellowship at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, UK. He completed his residency at SUNY/Buffalo and two fellowships at the Hospital for Special Surgery - Cornell University Medical Center, NY, in Spine Surgery and Pediatric Orthopedics. Dr. Dhawlikar specializes in neck, back and all varieties of spinal problems; including tumors, trauma, disc herniation and scoliosis and performs all varieties of spinal surgery including minimally invasive surgery and pain management.
Dr. Kubeck completed a spine surgery fellowship at the University of California, San Diego, CA. He completed an orthopedic surgical residency at SUNY/Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Kubeck is trained in the latest techniques in minimally invasive spine surgery.
Dr. Passariello completed his orthopedic residency and training at State University of New York, Health Science Center, Brooklyn. He has special interest in knee and hip replacement, sports-related injuries as well as fractures and employs minimally invasive surgery techniques.
