Octo Consulting Group Awarded $500 Million Technical Support Services Contract to Support General Service Administration Agile IT Transformation
TYSONS CORNER, VA – July 7, 2015 (PRWEB) July 08, 2015 -- Octo Consulting Group, (Octo), a leading provider of innovative technology solutions and management consulting services to the federal government, has announced it was one of nine contractors awarded the General Service Administration’s (GSA) $500 million, five-year, Technical Support Services (TSS) blanket purchase agreement (BPA) to modernize the agency’s IT systems that support crucial internal and external government initiatives.
GSA’s mission requires innovative solutions that can interact directly with the public and work behind the scenes with other federal agencies. The TSS BPA will support four main mission areas including agency tools and services, citizen tools and services, Executive Office of the President initiatives and e-government programs.

Under the TSS BPA, Octo and its partners—Aquilent, Booz Allen Hamilton, CGI Federal, inQbation, and Rock Creek Strategic Marketing—will propose solutions for the full lifecycle of IT application development and deployment, systems administration and information systems security.
