octoScope Appoints New Chief Technology Officer
LITTLETON, Mass. (PRWEB) December 22, 2017 -- octoScope®, the leader in accurate, repeatable and automated wireless personal testbeds, today announced that Leigh Chinitz has joined the company’s management team as Chief Technology Officer. In this role, Chinitz will work closely with the development teams to drive innovation and explore new approaches for meeting the demands of a growing customer base and partner community.
Since the introduction of the octoBox® wireless personal testbed in 2013, octoScope has been growing at an average rate of 70% per year. octoScope enables every wireless engineer to have a completely isolated and automated personal testbed in her office.
Chinitz comes to octoScope from Casa Systems where he was responsible for wireless strategy in the office of the CTO. Prior to that, he was a solutions architect at Cisco Systems, responsible for the design and implementation of Wi-Fi, and other small cell systems for service providers.
Chinitz holds 20 US patents and has spent more than twenty years in the high technology industry. He has participated in numerous industry groups and worked to support regulatory activities with both US and foreign government agencies. In his past roles, covering both technology and business development, he has managed groups of people across boundaries of businesses, companies, countries and cultures. Chinitz holds a B.S. degree in Physics from Yale University, a PhD in Experimental Nuclear Physics from the University of Virginia, and an MBA from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
