Off The Grid News Releases Most Recent Episode of Off The Grid News Radio
Thomson, IL (PRWEB) July 26, 2013 -- Off The Grid News just released the newest episode of their radio episode titled, “A Tale of Two Zimmermans – Was Zimmerman Really Prepared?” In the newest edition of Off The Grid News radio, hosts, Bill Heid and Brian Brawdy sit down in the studio to talk about one of the hottest topics of 2013, the George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin case. This topic has swept the mainstream media by storm, provoked race riots, and gained attention from public figures like Reverend Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.
Heid starts the radio show by reaching for law enforcement perspective from his co-host Brawdy. Brawdy is a former New York police investigator and Military Survival Expert. He offers up his take on the case both from a law enforcement perspective and from the perspective of an expert survivalist. Heid asks Brawdy, “Was Zimmerman really prepared?”
Later in the show the topic of gangs gets brought up and stirs a little fire under Brawdy. He gives his take on gangs and how and why they form and how they impact their community and members. Then the gasoline/diesel fuel/kerosene/lighter fluid (whatever the preference is) really gets thrown onto the fire when the topic changes to talking about public figures like Reverend Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. Brawdy issues the two prominent public figures a challenge to take off the suit coat, roll up their sleeves, and go into the communities most challenged with gang violence and deprived funding.
After Brawdy’s emotional and insightful rant things take a more relaxed and somber tone as Heid talks about the ways that things are getting worse. He brings up a term that created the entire basis for a 2002 movie featuring Christian Bale called “Equilibrium.” In the movie the term used a lot is “thought crime.” The film depicts the government regulation of thoughts and feelings. Heid reminds listeners that thought crimes are here.
