Tibro, Sweden (PRWEB) April 10, 2015 -- Swedish design Company Offecct presents a new collaboration with Danish designer Cecilie Manz. Manz has designed Omni, a set of organically shaped stools and a table reminding of the beautifully controlled chaos encountered in nature. Through great craftsmanship and use of natural materials, Omni offers an alternative resort of informal meetings and spreads a poetical warmth to public environments.
- Work places today are more than commercial office spaces and conference rooms. Many informal meetings are held outside of the traditional work space in what you would call a ”no man’s land”, and this is where you will find Omni. It’s an alternative place to gather around and meet.
The product development team at Offecct have in great detail examined furniture where hard and soft surfaces meet, together with designer Cecilie Manz. Omni consists of a table with a top made of stone, and stools made in different sizes with smooth organic contours. Textile surfaces in various degrees of softness and texture, covers the top of the stools and forms an inviting, comfortable and inspirational seat.
- The stools and table of Omni can randomly be put together and form an inviting landscape with a center point, like a formation of stones around a pond or a fire. A place for people to temporarily settle down, place your belongings and relax.
Omni is presented in Offecct Lab. Offecct Lab is an experimental department within Offecct, created in 2013 to concentrate efforts on the development of new technical and sustainable solutions for products and materials.
