Offerpop’s Sales Grow Threefold in First Half of 2013

Expands in Size and Territory
Using Offerpop’s platform, the company’s customers have created more than 400,000 campaigns, collected more than 25 million fan email addresses, and, using the platform’s Fan Database feature, have collected more than 40 million individual profiles of fan who participate in social marketing programs.

Adds Customers Across Verticals
Offerpop rapidly expanded its customer base, adding new accounts in key industries such as retail, ecommerce, entertainment and consumer packaged goods.
In the media and entertainment space, the company welcomed Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon and A&E to its customer roster. Standout campaigns included a Video Contest for a walk-on role in MTV’s hit show Teen Wolf.
The list of retail and fashion brands continued to grow with UNIQLO, The Limited, RadioShack, and TJ Maxx publishing social campaigns through the Offerpop platform. In an example of sophisticated social marketing, American Apparel used a Photo Contest to ask Facebook fans to sport Daft Punk-inspired costumes at retail locations, driving up in-store foot traffic.
In the consumer packaged goods space, key customer wins included Axe and Hellman’s. One notable campaign was Lipton’s “Drink Positive” sampling campaign, promoted through a national advertising campaign and powered through Offerpop’s Sign Up app.
Solidifies Partnerships and Enhances Product
Offerpop announced exciting new partnerships and certifications in first half of the year. Most recently, the company joined the ExactTarget HubExchange. The integration means that ExactTarget customers can access Offerpop’s platform and seamlessly sync fan and customer data, effectively connecting email and social marketing channels.
Additionally, Offerpop was named a Twitter Certified Product, and officially awarded with the Certified Product badge.
The company rolled out complete mobile optimization for its most popular apps, and all applications are currently mobile-ready. Also in Q2, Offerpop added turnkey Open Graph actions to its Photo Contest and Video Contest apps, dramatically increasing the reach and virality of customer campaigns.
Offerpop also rolled out a new User Actions API in private beta, which provides customers data about the actions that consumers take on social campaigns, including clicks and coupon redemptions.
