OfficeList Promotes Chairman, Jorge Pena to CEO
Miami Beach, FL (PRWEB) September 28, 2015 -- The administrative team at OfficeList.com is excited to announce the promotion of Jorge Pena to the position of CEO. The change technically occurred August 7, but the company didn't feel the need to rush the announcement as it was a quick change in response to the previous CEO leaving the company for personal reasons. One of the original founders of OfficeList, a business that specializes in office space rentals, Pena was a chairman on the board of directors and has been working behind the scenes in a variety of capacities. Now, he'll be the official front man dealing directly with customers and providers.
"This is a very exciting time for OfficeList. Having been part of the inception of the idea for OfficeList and having worked at different areas of the company in the last 12 years gives me the background to understand how things work and how they can be improved." Pena said in a statement.
Pena brings with him a sense of responsibility, purpose, and planning that stems from his roots in being an industrial engineer. Throughout his career he's learned how to successfully manage and implement different projects and ideas which will help him continue the work he's already done with better organizing the company.
Since taking over Pena has already accomplished tasks that had been left unfinished for some time. One of the areas he's worked with closely is the Information Technology (IT) department making changes to the website to allow for a better flow of traffic. The benefits have already begun to show in overall conversion rates.
The reception by the company's clients has been overwhelmingly positive. Pena made it a point to gradually contact every provider, one-on-one, to establish communication and assure them that not only will business continue to run smoothly, but they will also be in active pursuit of bettering their services and continual growth. The change may have been sudden, but they believe ultimately it will be a positive one.
