Officeworks Launch Tax Return Service from July 1
(PRWEB) July 03, 2013 -- The move follows Officeworks successful introduction of print, copy, computer support and equipment rental services in recent years. A successful pilot in 6 stores could lead to tax and accounting services being offered permanently in Officeworks stores across Australia.
Officeworks chose national accounting firm Mr Tax Refund to supply tax stores with their professional consultants in Perth, Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Cairns for the 2013 tax season. Over-the-phone and online tax services will be also offered to Officeworks customers Australia wide.
Tax time is one of the busiest times of the year at Officeworks. It’s widely believed the new services should be well received by customers and fit well within the giant retailers’ mantra of ‘in-store, online or by-phone’.
It’s believed the move could propel Mr Tax Refund, an emergent player in the billion dollar Australian tax services industry, into a top 3 position behind incumbents H&R Block (600,000 + returns) and ITP (300,000 + returns) in a few short years.
