Ohio Civil Engineering Firm KS Associates, Inc. Announces the Addition of Dale R. Haywood, P.E., P.S., to its Site Development Group

Haywood, P.E., P.S., to the firm’s Site Development Group. The Group provides engineering solutions for all types of land development projects including commercial, institutional, and residential projects.
Haywood joins KS Associates as a Senior Project Manager. He is a dual-registered Ohio Professional Engineer and Professional Surveyor with more than 20 years of experience in providing engineering solutions to public and private-sector clients. He is responsible for all facets of projects, from due diligence studies and planning to design, cost estimating, permitting, and construction-related services.
Haywood is skilled in evaluating the benefits and risks associated with land development projects, helping clients overcome site challenges and capitalize on opportunities. He is familiar with the many technical aspects of civil/site design, including stormwater management, utilities, environmental issues, wetlands, zoning, flood plains, and construction processes. Having worked on development projects of all sizes and scopes, Haywood is also an expert in the permitting process, helping clients understand and work through the regulatory approval process. He also represents clients at public meetings, helping all project stakeholders understand the goals and visions of each project, and the benefit that the project will bring to a community.

Haywood has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Cleveland State University’s Fenn College of Engineering. Prior to joining KS Associates, Haywood owned and operated his own civil engineering and surveying business for 15 years. Haywood is a resident of Elyria, Ohio.
