Old Cypress Pointe Receives Final Approvals, Grants 3 Acre Lake to Martin County
Jupiter, FL (PRWEB) October 30, 2013 -- Old Cypress Pointe, LLC has received the final approvals from Martin County to move forward with its new Treasure Coast luxury home community. Located on the North Fork of the Loxahatchee River within minutes of the Atlantic, Old Cypress Pointe is the last deep-water living opportunity in the Jupiter and Tequesta area.
According to Frank Skelly, one of the primary investors in the development, Old Cypress Pointe has also finalized plans to grant Martin County the 3-acre lake that sits on the property. “The lake doubles as both a wetlands preserve and a scenic asset,” Skelly said. “We’ve planned 13 over-sized homesites with the Loxahatchee River on one side and the lake on the other. Our future residents will enjoy natural surroundings and scenic views everywhere they turn not to mention an intimate Tequesta address on prestigious Island Way.”
Tony Panebianco, founder and principle of PB Built, which is developing the infrastructure for Old Cypress Pointe, expressed his excitement about the project. “We have 30 years of commercial and residential construction experience,” Panebianco said. “But, I’ve never seen an opportunity quite like Old Cypress Pointe. The residents will enjoy spacious homesites of a size you almost never find in a new Treasure Coast community, especially one that offers deep-water access which is increasingly rare.”
Old Cypress Pointe residents are just minutes from a variety of amenities including the newly enhanced Jupiter Inlet Village and Riverwalk areas to include Harbourside Place. Construction is underway on a number of improvements to this friendly downtown shopping and dining district. The US Highway 1 Drawbridge is being restored and enhanced with the addition of landscaping, sidewalks and bicycle facilities. A 4-acre property on Love Street is being transformed into a pedestrian-friendly “Main Street” complete with promenade, shops, a restaurant, club, and marina. Both the Jupiter Inlet Restaurant and Guanabanas Restaurant are being expanded with additional outdoor seating and other improvements. Those looking for diversion will soon have their pick between the new Lighthouse Cove Mini Golf which boasts a waterfall and the newly expanded Maltz Theater.
Other nearby shopping options include the Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens, Whole Foods, and other luxury retail offerings. When Old Cypress Pointe residents are ready to get outside they can choose among several world-class golf courses, hike in nearby Jonathan Dickson State Park, or participate in a wide variety of athletics at outstanding local facilities. Better still, the Atlantic and many other destinations along the Intracoastal Waterway are just a few minutes away by boat from Old Cypress Pointe.
Top-rated local schools and easy access to Palm Beach International Airport (just 30 minutes away) round out the area’s leisure offerings with opportunities to learn, work, and travel.
“Old Cypress Pointe offers its residents access to a rare mix of amenities,” Panebianco said. “Luxurious living on a large homesite, deep-water access, beautiful natural surroundings, great shopping, outstanding recreational facilities, and excellent schools not to mention an international airport that can take you anywhere in the world. But, why would you ever want to leave?”
