She also held the position of Public Relations & Events Manager for Virgin Megastore in Dubai where she reinforced Richard Branson’s legacy and managed the communications for the brand’s expansion in the Middle East. Prior to joining Virgin, Olya helped pioneer Edelman’s offices in Abu Dhabi and Dubai where she managed media relations, product launches and new business proposals for clients in the consumer, education and technology sectors.
A global citizen born in Kiev and raised in Toronto, Olya graduated from the University of Guelph in Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and has also resided in London, Barcelona and Dubai before moving to New York City. Olya sits on the board for Chabad’s Children of Chernobyl (CCOC), and volunteers with the Educational Alliance, both non-profit organizations in Manhattan.
