Available for download from the Apple® Store or Google Play®, the app is the perfect accessory for on-the-road dictation and allows subscription users to record, edit and send files from their iPhone® or Android™ smartphones. For an annual licensing fee, users are able to transmit their files in either DSS or encrypted DSS Pro file format to the Olympus Dictation Management System (ODMS) transcription module, allowing for increased business efficiency and uninterrupted workflow without worrying about compromising security.
For those DS-7000 and DS-3500 users who can’t go anywhere without their device, a complete mobile solution is also available to them through the use of the Toshiba FlashAir® SD card.
Users simply insert the Toshiba FlashAir® SD card into the digital recorder’s SD card slot and record as usual. When the file is ready to transfer, users turn on the wireless capability of the card and transmit data from the recorder to the Olympus Dictation app on their iPhone or Android device. From there, users can transmit files to ODMS via email or FTP.
