Omega3 Innovations’ Omega Heaven Wins International Award for Omega-3 Innovation and Market Significance
Venice, FL (PRWEB) November 21, 2013 -- On November 13th, Omega3 Innovations’ chocolate-covered Omega Heaven® cookie took home first prize in the omega-3 category of the Editor’s Choice Awards at SupplySide West in Las Vegas. The prestigious Editor's Choice Awards, which recognizes achievements in innovation and market significance of products from around the world, marks Omega3 Innovations’ first international award.
The Omega Heaven, a gluten-free oat fiber cookie, contains 1,000 mg of EPA/DHA, or the equivalent omega-3 serving found in 3½ regular fish oil capsules.
Omega3 Innovations’ co-founder, Bo Martinsen, MD, said the Venice-based biotech company developed the cookie in order to provide children and adults with a more appealing way to consume their omega-3 fish oil.
