Omega Morgan and Tahltan Nation Development Corporation Sign Memorandum of Understanding
PORTLAND, Ore. (PRWEB) January 27, 2015 -- Omega Morgan and Tahltan Nation Development Corporation (TNDC) today announced completion of a “Memorandum of Understanding” (MOU) between the two corporations that will see the parties partner on specialized transportation and logistics opportunities for energy, resource and industrial projects in Northwestern British Columbia.
The agreement sets out the joint understanding and intention of the parties to cooperate in carrying out the development of rigging, specialized transportation and logistics services business opportunities within Tahltan traditional territory.
TNDC is the business and economic arm of the Tahltan Nation, a First Nation in Northwestern B.C. Tahltan territory is rich in natural resources, which is the catalyst for dozens of existing and proposed energy, resource and industrial development projects in the region. TNDC capitalizes on business opportunities associated with sustainable and responsible projects, ensuring economic benefits to the Nation including, jobs, training and contracts for Tahltan members.
