On Rite Company Announces the Retirement of Founder and President, Andrew Wright

Established in 1975, On Rite has become one of the largest distributors of men’s hair replacement products and services in the world and a leader in advancing the techniques, products, customer base and marketing of hair replacement studios in the industry. Andy Wright has dedicated over 40 years to being customer-focused, helping studios to achieve their business objectives and give their customers more quality and choice. Over the years, Andy continued to grow On Rite into five distinctive brands, On Rite, GemTress, UltraTress, TressAllure, Simplicity, including the renowned International Hair Academy for education and training now under one umbrella, Hair Visions International.
Andy’s philosophy was not just to sell products to the hair replacement industry. He has always said he wants to assist retailers in creating their future by providing them with the full range of what they need – products, support of sales and business strategies to consumer materials, marketing programs that include TV, radio, print and more recently, the implementation of digital social media.
David Schwartz, who has been with On Rite/Hair Visions International since 2001 serving as its Vice president/Chief Operating Officer and Andy's second-in-command, will continue that same driving force to guide On Rite/Hair Visions International. He will assume all of Andy’s roles and responsibilities with his current management team. David has established close relationships with countless customers and has a solid understanding of their needs. He has visited with the factories developing strong associations and will continue to focus on innovation, quality and service. David’s leadership and passion for the continued growth and success of On Rite and its customers is undeniable.
The Hiking Group, which acquired On Rite Company and its subsidiaries in 2009, respects Andy’s decision to retire and applauds his contribution to the company and the industry. They will continue to draw on Andy’s experience as a consultant for On Rite/Hair Visions International which will ensure a smooth, seamless transition into the future.
