One Fit Widow Nonprofit Launches New Services and Valentine's Day "I HEART WIDOWS™" Fundraiser
Bozeman, Montana (PRWEB) February 04, 2015 -- After the trauma of losing her husband Mitch in a plane crash in October 2009, Michelle realized that her efforts to become fit and healthy were not only good for her health, but also good for her grief. She started One Fit Widow Nonprofit, which recently became a 501(c)3 public benefit charity to inspire other widows, widowers and their children to live life well after loss. "There are a lot of great charities out there that provide information and emotional support for widows, widowers and their children," Michelle says. "One Fit Widow will add to their work by focusing on how life after loss can evolve to have more meaning. I want to inspire members to reach beyond coping with loss, to living inspired, meaning-filled lives after loss. The three Inspired Life services all have a common characteristic - each takes a widowed member out of their comfort zone, to achieve something they never thought possible in the darkest days of their loss."
When Michelle realized that her dream to launch One Fit Widow would occur just a few weeks before Valentine's Day, she knew that this was an important time to seek donations for the non-profit. "For the non-widowed public, Valentine's Day is a day to celebrate love," Michelle says. "For people who are widowed, it is often a time where grief is heightened and hope for a brighter future is dim. The I HEART WIDOWS fundraiser will do more than just raise funds, it will help widows and widowers know they are not alone and that there is hope of an inspired life after loss with every donation." Donations to "I HEART WIDOWS" are made at One Fit Widow/Donate. One Fit Widow is a 501(c)3 registered non-profit and donations are tax deductible.
