OneWorld Memorials Now Offers Artist Inspired Cremation Urns From Keyhole Studio
St. Paul, Minnesota (PRWEB) September 14, 2015 -- After a chance meeting at an art fair, OneWorld Memorials' President Ira Woods announced a new partnership with artist Michelle Kaisersatt of Keyhole Studio. The St. Peter, MN, artist crafts pottery, jewelry, cremation urns, cremation keepsakes and other small items with ceramics and bronze.
This September, Woods and Kaisersatt launched a new, singular line of urns and cremation keepsakes. Most of the one-of-a-kind pieces are nature themed, and they are currently available on the OneWorld Memorials website. The partnership is part of an ongoing initiative at the company to feature more unique work from artists all over the world.
Earlier this summer, Woods announced that his company would feature crafts hand made by artisans from South America and China, but he has also been looking for local Minnesota artists as well. He believes the collaboration with Kaisersatt will serve as a model for future partnerships in the same mold.
"The minute I saw Michelle's artwork I knew I was looking at something that came from a very deep emotional place," Woods said. "These weren't just cremation urns, they were expressions of compassion and caring by a very sensitive artist. I knew I had to find a way to offer Michelle's collection to my customers."
Woods wants to offer his customers in mourning a wide range of unique ceramics and jewelry, and he says the new artistic pieces are designed for "those seeking a cremation urn or keepsake of high quality and beauty." Although the memorial keepsakes from Keyhole Studio cost more than some of the mass-produced items listed on the OneWorld Memorials website, the bronze and clay pieces from Kaisersatt are all handmade in her Minnesota studio.
“What I do have is a love for working with my hands,” said Kaisersatt.
