Online Media Marketing Launch Work Experience Programme Within The Digital Marketing Industry
(PRWEB UK) 21 November 2013 -- In 2012, Online Media Marketing launched their first work experience programme. This was offered to universities within the North of England. Within the first week they had over 150 applications and provided 60 lucky applicants a position within the programme. Out of the 60 who were given a placement, 28 went on to secure themselves a career in marketing, with two others setting up their own businesses.
The programme provides a flexible plan whereby those interested in getting into the marketing industry have a 4, 8 or 16-week tailored programme to help them in the areas they need the most development. The course covers a range of digital marketing sectors which include SEO, Social Media, Affiliates, PPC, and content creation. Those interested in developing their web design portfolio can also apply and will receive feedback and paid-for-training where needed.
Online Media Marketing are aware that it is still hard to obtain a career within the marketing industry and want to provide the tools and training required to help further the success of others. After reviewing the industry and social media platforms, they are aware this problem still exists, which has allowed them to make the decision to re-open the programme for 2013/14.
Unlike last year, the programme will run for a year and will end in November 2014. They expect a higher success rate due to having already received interest on a daily basis from students contacting them for work experience opportunities.
