Online Security will be discussed in a new "In America" segment with host James Earl Jones
(PRWEB) February 12, 2015 -- An upcoming segment of IN AMERICA, the popular television program hosted by famous actor James Earl Jones, will discuss the topic of online security in great detail. Online security is in the news on a regular basis thanks largely to the types of massive data breaches that are hitting some of the largest corporations in the world, like the cyber attack that corporate giant Sony went through in the winter of 2014 and early 2015.
Online security is a hugely important topic, as most of the information that a person would need to steal a private citizen's identity can be obtained through a brute force attack, on their various accounts online. Private businesses are also being hit by people with malicious intentions and the total amount of money that these events have been known to cost are exorbitant. The Sony hack alone, for example, will cost that company an estimated $15 million dollars in IT costs when everything is finally said and done. The hack also leaked terabytes of confidential documents on the Internet and delayed the release of the major motion picture "The Interview."
IN AMERICA is an independent production and is distributed to Public Television Stations across the country. It is not a production of APT or PBS and is not affiliated with those organizations in any way. To find out more information about IN AMERICA, visit inamericatv.com today.
