Online Teacher Certification Program in Texas Provides Flexibility for Full-time Professionals: Region 4 ACP Announces Limited Time “Pay the Rest Later” Opportunity
Houston, TX (PRWEB) July 29, 2013 -- Region 4 Alternative Certification Program (ACP) has a proven reputation for providing flexible training programs for professionals interested in becoming Texas educators. The teacher training center offers a wide variety of certification areas with flexible class schedules offered in both an online format and a blended online/classroom format. And now, for a limited time, Region 4 is making the process even easier and more affordable: Students can now register for Region 4 ACP’s October online session for just $250—and the remainder of the program’s usual $950 fee won’t be due until they land their first paid internship.
This “pay the rest later” offer can be used on any teaching certification, from Special Education to Spanish to Early Childhood to High School subjects. And because future educators are paid during their teaching internship, they’ll appreciate the ability to start earning a paycheck before the rest of their payment is due.
“Our certification program seeks out ways to identify and train great teachers. Finances shouldn’t be an impediment to place a great teacher in the classroom. That’s why we are excited to introduce this “pay the rest later” offer to everyone,” says Dr. Rene Ruiz, Director Region 4 ACP (& former Region 4 ACP teacher candidate).
The application deadline for the October online session and “pay the rest later” offer is September 23rd. Those looking for more information about the Region 4 Alternative certification program can attend an information meeting on August 17th, from 9 am to 12 p.m. in Room 101 at the Region 4 Education Service Center, located at 7145 West Tidwell, Houston, TX 77092. This session will give prospective students a chance to meet with advisors and Region 4 ACP staff members who will answer questions about the program. RSVP today at http://www.region4acp.com/becomeateacher.
The online teacher training beginning in October isn’t the only teacher certification program available at Region 4 ACP. They offer training programs with five start dates in the first half of 2014. These flexible schedules appeal to those in other full-time careers who want to make the switch to teaching, as well as those with family responsibilities.
“I chose the online training program because I have three teenagers at home,” shares Region 4 student Stephanie. “I have to chauffeur them all over town, so the flexible class schedule really helps me out.”
