Online Vintage Marketplace Chairish Hosts Live Instagram Sale with Sophie Donelson, Editor In Chief of House Beautiful, at NYC Big Flea
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) September 22, 2015 -- Chairish.com, the online marketplace for design lovers, will host a vintage sale broadcast live on Instagram, with Sophie Donelson, the newly installed Editor in Chief of House Beautiful. The event will take place at the largest antique flea market in Manhattan, NYC Big Flea, on Sunday, September 27th from 10-11 am PST on Chairish’s Instagram account @ShopChairishlive.
Chairish has pioneered live selling on Instagram with appointment shopping events from well-known flea markets across the US. The sales have developed a cult-like following for their expertly curated offerings, which home decor enthusiasts can purchase from the convenience of their phone on a Sunday morning. In the latest installment of the #ShopChairishLive Instagram series, Chairish’s Co-Founder and President, Anna Brockway, and Donelson will scour the market and Chairish for the most stylish finds available.
Donelson is a well-known tastemaker with a multidisciplinary background in the media, e-commerce and design worlds.
“Sophie represents the next generation of tastemakers with an exciting, fresh perspective on vintage. I’m thrilled to team up with the editor in chief of House Beautiful, an iconic brand and the epitome of stylish American home decor, for this Instagram sale,” said Brockway.
This is the 12th Instagram sale offered by Chairish. 100 percent of the items curated by Chairish have sold out almost immediately during previous sales. Followers are invited to shop along and buy in real time on Chairish’s Instagram feed. Items will be reasonably priced between $40 to $200 with US shipping included.
“Located along the piers, NYC Big Flea is a glorious new venue for the best of everything vintage, from art and jewelry to home decor,” said Donelson. “I love mixing one-of-a-kind pieces in a room – they make a statement, add personality and fun – and Chairish brings the country’s best flea markets into shoppers’ homes, making them totally accessible online and through social media.”
