(PRWEB) July 18, 2013 -- OnRamp Digital today announced the launch of a new program that will enable music publishing companies to track the comprehensive usage rights of their artists and songwriters on YouTube. The new network creates a unique opportunity for rights holders, allowing songwriters and YouTube musicians, to jointly share in premium ad revenue created by cover songs. Reservoir Media Management, Big Deal Songs, Bicycle Music, Big Loud Bucks and Wrensong are among the first of a growing roster of partners to engage the service to maximize their YouTube ad revenue.
OnRamp Digital will supplement YouTube’s Content ID tracking and claim the videos on behalf of the rights owner. OnRamp emphasizes monetizing under-serviced user-generated content cover videos, which go largely unclaimed.

OnRamp will aggregate the interpreted works into one YouTube channel and sell advertising alongside the videos, offering another opportunity to generate revenue for both copyright owners and YouTube musicians.
OnRamp Digital has partnered with Crunch Digital to administer these songs on behalf of rights owners and provide royalty reporting.
